Alumni & Friends attend reception in downtown Indianapolis in March 2023

The Department of Chemistry hosted a networking reception on March 26, 2023, in conjunction with the ACS National Meeting in downtown Indianapolis. The event was open to all Chemistry at UIUC alumni and friends in the Indianapolis area as well as current faculty, postdocs, and graduate students.

Professor Cathy Murphy, Department Head and Larry R. Faulkner Endowed Chair in Chemistry, addressed the crowd during the event, updating everyone on department news and highlights. 

Staff in the department are already making plans for the next Alumni & Friends Reception that will be held this fall in conjunction with the ACS National Meeting in San Francisco.
