  • Women Chemists Committee (WCC)
    The Women Chemists Committee serves the membership of the American Chemical Society by attracting, developing and promoting women in the chemical sciences. They sponsor a Retreat for Women in Chemistry towards the end of August each year.
  • Women in Science (WiS) is is an organization open to undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and staff, as well as anyone who supports and promotes women in the sciences. For more information about WiS, please email them. 
  • Women in Engineering program is dedicated to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for women students in the College of Engineering. The wide range of WIE programs include student recruiting, workshops and seminars, undergraduate advising, orientation for new students, and a residential camp for high school girls.
  • weSTEM - Initiated in 2013 by the Graduate Society of Women Engineers (GradSWE) at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, weSTEM (Women Empowered in STEM) is a one-day conference that provides a forum for STEM leaders to inspire one another to excel at the scientific frontier, developing solutions for the next generation of global challenges. Engineers and scientists share academic, professional, and personal experiences, providing insight into their paths to success in STEM fields.

    The fifth annual weSTEM conference is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at the Illini Union in Champaign, IL. During this annual event, STEM leaders will share experience and insight from their diverse career paths following a graduate degree in STEM. Conference includes panel discussions and breakout sessions to facilitate one-on-one interactions with these accomplished speakers.  At this time, they have reached their maximum capacity for applicants and registration is closed. They encourage you to apply next year for weSTEM 2018. Please check their website in early September 2017 for 2018 registration.
